Step 3. How to apply
Before you apply, please read the Applicant guide for detailed information on eligibility criteria, support and funding available, and the application process.
The AgriInnovate program has a two-stage intake process involving:
- Stage One: Pre-Screening
- Stage Two: Application
Stage One: Pre-Screening
The first step in the application process is to complete the AgriInnovate Pre-Screening Form. Detailed instructions on how to complete the pre-screening form can be found in Annex B: Part 1 of the Applicant guide.
Stage Two: Application
Proposals that are deemed to meet the priorities of the program will be invited to proceed to stage two of the application process, and are required to submit an online full application with required supporting documentation. Applicants that have been invited to submit a full application (stage 2) must use the online application template and provide all supporting documents. If a submitted application is assessed as incomplete, the applicant will be notified and will have 30 business days to provide the missing information before the file is closed. An invitation to submit a full application does not constitute an offer of funding.
Note: Proposals will be assessed based on information provided in both the pre-screening form and on the information provided in the full application package. Annex B: Part 2 of the Applicant guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to complete a full application and outlines a list of supporting documentation required to complete your application package.
Applications will be taken on a continuous basis from the launch of the program until March 31, 2023, or until funding has been fully committed or otherwise announced by the program.
We are currently experiencing a delay up to 130 days in processing applications.
