As part of their research program, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) staff are able to provide expert identifications for government, industrial, university and private clients. Fees may be applied according to an hourly rate. Identifications are provided only for plant groups for which there is a resident expert and through prior arrangement to ensure availability.
Following is a list of staff, their contact information and the groups for which they may be able to provide identifications and expert advice.

In a case where identification is needed for material that is not listed among the areas of expertise shown above, the collections manager may be able to recommend an appropriate expert.
For identifications that are likely to involve a cost, a specific form must be signed following discussion of fees for identification service.
