Economics and Social Science Services Development Program for policy analysts and economists

The Economics and Social Science Services Development Program (ECDP) is a professional development and apprenticeship program (PDAP) at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. The program is open to policy analysts and economists.

The program is designed to develop participants from the EC-02 to the EC-05 level and focuses on learning and development opportunities that allow participants to achieve results, and expand their skills.

Variety of work

  • Conducting analysis and research

Education qualifications

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

An acceptable specialization must include at least two full courses (or 4 semester-based courses) in one of the following areas: economic, sociology or statistics.
