Bilateral agricultural trade = $662 million in 2022
Idaho exported $361 million to Canada, including:
- $75M in live bovine animals
- $38M in baked goods
- $37M in butter
- $22M in prepared potatoes, other than frozen
- $21M in sauces and condiments
Idaho imported $301 million from Canada, including:
- $53M in oil-cakes
- $36M in canola oil
- $31M in margarine
- $27M in fresh or chilled beef
- $20M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
Idaho’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:
- Canada: 32%
- Mexico: 15%
- China: 11%
- Korea: 7%
- Japan: 5%
