Idaho exported $361 million to Canada, including:

  • $75M in live bovine animals
  • $38M in baked goods
  • $37M in butter
  • $22M in prepared potatoes, other than frozen
  • $21M in sauces and condiments

Idaho imported $301 million from Canada, including:

  • $53M in oil-cakes
  • $36M in canola oil
  • $31M in margarine
  • $27M in fresh or chilled beef
  • $20M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes

Idaho’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 32%
  • Mexico: 15%
  • China: 11%
  • Korea: 7%
  • Japan: 5%
