Iowa imported $1.2 billion from Canada, including:

  • $464M in canola oil
  • $139M in live pigs
  • $111M in oats
  • $54M in wheat and meslin
  • $53M in fresh, chilled or frozen pork

Iowa’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Mexico: 40%
  • Canada: 20%
  • Japan: 14%
  • China: 8%
  • Korea: 3%
