  • $59M in beverages

New york imported $2.6 billion from Canada, including:

  • $194M in chocolate
  • $179M in baked goods
  • $147M in wheat and meslin
  • $125M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $119M in food preparations*

New york’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 51%
  • Mexico: 6%
  • China: 5%
  • United arab emirates: 3%
  • Saudi arabia: 2%

* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
