  • $4.1M in dog or cat food
  • $2.7M in live poultry

Alabama imported $247 million from Canada, including:

  • $152M in canola oil
  • $39M in baked goods
  • $7.8M in wheat and meslin
  • $5.4M in fresh or chilled beef
  • $3.5M in beverages

Alabama’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • China: 30%
  • Mexico: 11%
  • Cuba: 6%
  • Taiwan: 5%
  • Canada: 4.8%
