Florida exported $878 million to Canada, including:

  • $244M in vegetables and roots
  • $242M in fruit and nuts
  • $64M in live trees and plants
  • $58M in coffee
  • $53M in food preparations*

Florida imported $1.3 billion from Canada, including:

  • $254M in baked goods
  • $132M frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $87M in fresh or chilled beef
  • $69M in live trees and plants
  • $53M in malt extracts

Florida’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 15%
  • Mexico: 9%
  • Dominican Republic: 7%
  • Bahamas: 6%
  • Panama: 4%

* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
