Idaho exported $381 million to Canada, including:

  • $87M in live bovine animals
  • $33M in butter
  • $30M in baked goods
  • $29M in food preparation
  • $23M in prepared or preserved potatoes

Idaho imported $361 million from Canada, including:

  • $96M in oil-cakes
  • $32M in margarine
  • $31M in fresh or chilled beef
  • $28M in canola oil
  • $27M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes

Idaho’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 32%
  • Mexico: 21%
  • China: 9%
  • Japan: 6%
  • Korea: 4%
