Maine exported $89 million to Canada, including:

  • $26M in frozen fruit and nuts
  • $12M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $7.8M in live animals
  • $7.7M in other fresh fruits
  • $6.3M in maple syrup and sugar

Maine imported $268 million from Canada, including:

  • $69M in preparations in animal food
  • $32M in baked goods
  • $28M live plants
  • $21M in margarine
  • $20M in frozen fruit and nuts

Maine’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 47%
  • Mexico: 15%
  • China: 4.3%
  • Germany: 4.1
  • Netherlands: 3%
