Massachusetts exported $149 million to Canada, including:

- $13M in prepared or preserved meat
- $11M in fruit, nuts and other edible parts
- $10M in malt extract
- $9.8M in food preparations*
Massachusetts imported $945 million from Canada, including:
- $154M in canola oil
- $94M in baked goods
- $75M in fresh or chilled beef
- $65M frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
- $38M in frozen fruit and nuts
Massachusetts’ top agriculture and agri-food export markets:
- Canada: 37%
- Netherlands: 12%
- China: 7%
- Mexico: 6%
- United Kingdom: 5%
* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
