  • $9.8M in food preparations*

Massachusetts imported $945 million from Canada, including:

  • $154M in canola oil
  • $94M in baked goods
  • $75M in fresh or chilled beef
  • $65M frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $38M in frozen fruit and nuts

Massachusetts’ top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 37%
  • Netherlands: 12%
  • China: 7%
  • Mexico: 6%
  • United Kingdom: 5%

* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
