  • $70M in waters
  • $63M in baked goods

New york imported $2.7 billion from Canada, including:

  • $199M in baked goods
  • $181M in chocolate
  • $142M in wheat and meslin
  • $135M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $129M in food preparations*

New york’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 54%
  • Mexico: 6%
  • China: 5%
  • United Arab Emirates: 3%
  • Saudi Arabia: 2%

* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
