  • $243M in grain alcohol
  • $82M in canola seeds
  • $62M in dried legumes
  • $37M in brewing and distilling dregs

North Dakota imported $463 million from Canada, including:

  • $140M in canola seeds
  • $71M in dried legumes
  • $45M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
  • $43M in wheat and meslin
  • $21M in oats

North Dakota’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:

  • Canada: 59%
  • Mexico: 32%
  • Japan: 2%
  • Dominican Republic: 1%
  • China: 1%
