Puerto Rico exported $113 million to Canada, including:

- $6M in rum
- $180K in tea extracts and concentrates
- $38K in live plants
- $30K in other fresh fruits
Puerto Rico imported $193 million from Canada, including:
- $41M in frozen fries and other prepared potatoes
- $40M in wheat and meslin
- $30M in fresh or chilled potatoes
- $25M in fresh or chilled pork
- $11M in chocolate
Puerto Rico’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:
- Canada: 38%
- Italy: 12%
- Mexico: 9%
- Dominican Republic: 7%
- Saint Maarten (Dutch part): 4%
* the category “food preparations” includes products such as tea substitutes, vegetable preparations, flavoring extracts, powders and essences, milk or cream substitutes, jelly powders, and juices from concentrate.
