Step 3. How to apply
Intake period: Open
Applications are only accepted for projects with end dates on or before March 31, 2024.
Before you apply, please read the Applicant guide for detailed information on eligibility criteria, support and funding available, and the application process.

The Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program (CASPP) has a 2-stage intake process involving:
- Stage 1: Pre-Screening
- Stage 2: Application
Stage 1: Pre-Screening
To pre-screen:
- Download the CASPP Pre-screening summary to your computer
- Complete and save the summary on your computer
- Upload the summary
- Complete the Pre-screening details
- Submit your Pre-screening summary
If your Pre-screening summary is deemed to meet the priorities of the program, you will be invited to proceed to stage 2 of the application process.

Stage 2: Application
If you are invited to stage 2 of the application process, you will have access to complete the CASPP Full Application Form online.
An invitation to submit a full application does not constitute an offer of funding.
Applications will be assessed based on information provided in the Full Application Form.
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis from the launch of the program until funding has been fully committed or for projects with end dates on or before March 31, 2024.
