The personal information collected on this subscription form is collected under the authority of section 4 of the Agriculture and Agri-Food Act the purposes of sending subscribers email notifications, namely notices of updates to the program and reminders of important dates.
Details of the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of personal information are described in Personal Information Bank: “Career Focus Program” (Bank Number AAFC PPU 300).
Individuals or organizations refusing to provide an email address will not to be added to the program’s subscription list and will not receive email notifications from the Youth Employment and Skills Program. Such refusal will not impact the individual or organization’s relationship with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Individuals or organizations can elect to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act. In accordance with this act, Individuals have the right to the protection and correction of, and access to, their personal information. For personal information under the control of AAFC, these rights may be exercised by contacting AAFC’s Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator at aafc.atip-aiprp.aac@agr.gc.ca. Individuals also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada concerning AAFC’s handling of their personal information
