Of the top ten meat suppliers to Taiwan by value, Canada was ranked as the 5th largest (valued at US$78.8 million in 2021) and accounted for 4.5% of the global market share to Taiwan in 2021.
Of the top 10 meat suppliers to Taiwan by volume, Canada also ranked as the 2nd largest in 2021, exporting 39.7 thousand tonnes and accounting for 9.5% of the total world exports.
However Canada's meat export declined in value at a CAGR of −9.3% from 2017 to 2021. The top three are frozen meat of swine, frozen cuts and edible offal of fowls of the species, and frozen boneless meat of bovine.
In terms of export value broken down by Canadian province, Quebec led with a value of US$28.3 million in 2021. Alberta ranked second, exporting US$15.1 million in 2021, followed by Ontario at US$14.3 million.

Production of beef and buffalo meat: 8 thousand tonnes; production of pig meat: 840 thousand tonnes; production of poultry meat: 757,663 tonnes.
