Step 4. How to apply

There are 2 stages to submit a full application.

Stage 1. Complete and submit the project summary form

  1. Access your program information
  2. Choose a secure sign-in method
  3. Sign in (or Sign up)
  4. Start a new application process
  5. Download the AgriInnovate Program Project Summary Form to your computer
    • The project summary form will help you determine your project's eligibility and alignment with the program's criteria and priorities.
    • The project summary form PDF link is available when you access your program information.
    • Note: To download the PDF on your computer, right click on the PDF link and save the file.
  6. Complete and save the form on your computer
  7. Upload the completed form and additional information you would like to give
  8. Complete the Pre-screening details
  9. Submit your form

If your project summary form is deemed to meet the priorities of the program, you may be invited to go to stage 2 of the application process.

This stage will begin a discussion between you and program staff about the project.

Stage 2. Complete and submit the program application form

If you are invited to stage 2 of the application process, you will have access to complete the AgriInnovate Program Application Form online.

  1. Access your program information
  2. Choose a secure sign-in method
  3. Sign in
  4. Complete the AgriInnovate Program Application Form online
  5. Download the following form to your computer
    • Required: Detailed Project Budget
  6. Complete and save the Detailed Project Budget form on your computer
  7. Upload the Detailed Project Budget form and the following required documents: 
    • Required: Business plan
    • Required: Organizational chart
    • Required: Diagram of your organization's corporate structure
    • Required: Audited or Reviewed Engagement Financial statements
    • Required: Pro Forma Financial Statements
    • Required: Signed copies of all financing agreements related to the project financing plan
    • Required: Market research studies and/or letters of supports
    • Required: Organization's Certificate or Articles of Incorporation
    • Required, if applicable: Alternative proof of legal status for Indigenous organizations
    • Required: Quotes, estimates and/or contracts
    • Required: Copies of all regulatory permits and/or patents required to undertake the project
    • Required: Copy of any inter-company or other agreements impacting the proposed project
    • Required: Detailed project budget
  8. Complete all the application details
  9. Submit your complete application
