How to apply

There are 2 stages to submit a full application.

Stage 1: Complete and submit the project summary form

  1. Access your program information
  2. Select the “Grants and contributions” button
  3. Choose a secure sign-in method
  4. Sign in (or Sign up)
  5. Start a new application  
  6. Complete the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Technology Adoption Project Summary Form
  7. Submit your form

Program staff will contact you to discuss your project. If your project summary form is deemed to meet the priorities of the program, you may be invited to go to stage 2 of the application process.

Stage 2: Complete and submit the project application form

If you are invited to stage 2 of the application process, you will get access to the CEA Technology Adoption Application Form online.

  1. Access your program information
  2. Choose a secure sign-in method
  3. Sign in (or Sign up)
  4. Complete the CEA Technology Adoption Application Form
  5. Download the following form to your computer
    • Required: Detailed project budget
  6. Complete and save the form on your computer
  7. Upload the completed form as well as the following documents:
    • Required: Copy of the organization's Certificates or Articles of Incorporation  
      • Note: Not required for First Nations, Band Councils and Tribal Councils – additional options for other Indigenous applicants:
        • director’s resolution
        • self-government agreement or modern treaty agreement
        • legal document stating they are a legal entity  
    • Required: Copy of the last 2 years of Audited or Review Engagement financial statements
    • Required: Organizational chart
    • Required: Diagram of your organization’s corporate structure
    • Required: Signed copies of all financing agreements related to the project financing plan
    • Required: Quotes, estimates and/or contracts
    • Required: Detailed project budget
    • Required, if applicable: Copies of all regulatory permits and/or patents required to undertake the project
    • Required, if applicable: Copy of any inter-company or other agreements impacting the proposed project
    • Optional: Project Endorsement Letters and/or Letters of Support
  8. Complete the application details
  9. Submit your complete application
