Eligibility checklist

You must meet all the following criteria to be eligible.

    • You're an associationnote 1 of producers marketing agricultural products produced by the producers, under an official cooperative plan
    • You're a processornote 2 who represents a processing company marketing agricultural products under an official cooperative plan
    • You're a person authorized by one or more associations or producers, as listed above, to market agricultural products under an official cooperative plan

You need to meet all the eligibility criteria to qualify for the program.

Any agricultural product that is produced in Canada and delivered to the pool can be covered under the program. Agricultural products include:

  • animal, plant, or their products
  • products, including food or drink that is partly or wholly derived from animals or plants
