- Initial deadline to submit your 2024 form without penalty
December 31, 2025
- Final deadline to submit your 2024 form with a penalty applied
- We’ll reduce your maximum matchable deposit by 5% for each month (or part of a month) past the initial deadline to the final deadline
- Final deadline to file an income tax return for the program year reporting eligible farming business income (loss), except Status Indians farming on a reserve in Canada who are exempt from filing an income tax return
- Final deadline to submit your 2024 form with a penalty applied

Electronic filing for individuals and corporations
Using the internet:
- 2024 forms for individuals can be filed electronically to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) using EFILE.
- 2024 forms for corporations can be filed electronically to CRA using Corporation Internet Filing.
CRA will electronically send your data to the AgriInvest program.

Excel versions of the AgriStability and AgriInvest forms
Excel versions of the AgriStability and AgriInvest application are available for individual producers in all provinces (except Quebec) and corporations, co-operatives, and special individuals in British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories and Yukon.
To receive the forms, complete the online request form.

The following information applies to:
- individual producers in Northwest Territories, Yukon and all provinces (except Quebec)
- corporations in British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories and Yukon
If you are a new participant and want to EFILE with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
- You must have a Participant Identification Number (PIN) to electronically file your AgriInvest form to the CRA.
- The PIN is your unique identifier for AgriInvest. It allows the program to automatically match your information to your records and prevents processing delays.
- Request your PIN before you file.
- To request a PIN, complete an AgriInvest New Participant Identification Number Request Form.
- If you cannot download the form call AAFC at 1-866-367-8506 and the form will be sent to you.
- AAFC will send your PIN to you by mail. You must include your PIN when filing your forms.
